Hello & Welcome

Hello! Welcome to my creative portfolio. I am so glad you are here.
My name is Anna Albaugh, and I am currently based in Central Indiana, where I work in the restaurant industry as a Marketing Manager with an emphasis on Digital Marketing, Partnerships, Collaborations, and Creative Strategy.
At the center of everything I do is connection. I am passionate about creating meaningful relationships, building thoughtful experiences, and producing work that feels intentional, elevated, and authentic to the people and brands it represents. My approach has always been rooted in creating work that is thorough, clean, concise, and impactful.
This portfolio is more than a collection of projects — it is a reflection of the people, experiences, and opportunities that have shaped me into the creative and professional I am today.
Where It All Started
My love for creativity began when I was young, borrowing my Mom’s Nikon camera. She loved photographing birds and bugs; I preferred photographing her. What started as curiosity quickly became a creative outlet that allowed me to observe people, emotion, movement, and connection in a way I had never experienced before.
That passion followed me into college at Albion College, where I found an opportunity in 2019 to photograph the Albion College Football team. What began as sideline photography evolved into something much bigger. I photographed games, practices, recruiting visits, and behind-the-scenes moments, eventually becoming closely connected with the coaching staff and players throughout my college career.
The trust and encouragement I received from that team opened the door to photographing all Albion athletics, while also leading to opportunities within the Campus Communications department and the campus Mental Health organization. During this time, I also launched my small photography business, now lovingly known as AllBall Photography, to help support myself financially while continuing to grow creatively.
Leadership, Creativity & Athletics
College was one of the most formative periods of my life because it challenged me to grow in every direction simultaneously.
In addition to photography and communications work, I was an active member of Alpha Xi Delta, Phi Chapter, where I managed social media, created graphics, photographed events, and designed signage for philanthropy events including our annual 5K.
At the same time, I was also a student-athlete competing in Track & Field. Athletics taught me discipline, resilience, structure, and accountability — lessons I still carry into my professional life every day. During my collegiate career, I won multiple conference events and qualified for the NCAA Division III National Championships in Hammer Throw during my senior year, placing me among the Top 20 competitors in the country.
Balancing athletics, academics, photography, leadership, and creative work taught me how to operate under pressure while still producing meaningful, high-quality work.
Entering the Professional World
Following graduation, I accepted a role in Digital Marketing with Lids — yes, THAT hat company!
Working at Lids gave me my first experience inside a fast-paced, high-level corporate marketing environment. I learned the intricacies of campaign management, cross-functional collaboration, retail marketing strategy, and global brand execution. Over time, my responsibilities expanded significantly. I managed mall signage initiatives across the United States while also assisting with campaigns and advertising efforts in countries including Germany, France, and the United Kingdom.
Even within a corporate setting, I naturally gravitated toward the creative side of the business. I integrated myself into the Creative team whenever possible, photographing behind-the-scenes content, product launches, and special campaigns. One of the highlights during my time there was assisting with photography content for the Playboy x Lids collaboration campaign at the Bottleworks Hotel in downtown Indianapolis.
In May of 2023, my time at Lids unexpectedly came to an end when my position was eliminated. While difficult at the time, that experience taught me resilience, adaptability, and the importance of trusting that growth can come from uncertainty.
A Different Kind of Speed
Following Lids, I stepped into a completely different industry as a Marketing Manager at Indianapolis Raceway Park.
The transition from retail marketing to motorsports was both challenging and exciting. Loud engines, packed schedules, late nights, passionate fans, superstar racers — it was a world entirely unlike anything I had experienced before.
My time at IRP pushed me to grow personally and professionally. I learned how to manage high-pressure event environments, navigate customer relations on a large scale, and juggle multiple moving parts simultaneously. The people I worked alongside there remain some of the hardest-working and most genuine individuals I have met, and many of those relationships continue today.
It was also during this chapter of my life that I became deeply invested in bodybuilding and strength training. What started as fitness evolved into a passion for discipline, consistency, physical growth, and understanding how the body works. The mindset I developed through lifting mirrored many of the lessons I was learning professionally — patience, resilience, sacrifice, and long-term commitment.
Eventually, I made the difficult decision to step away from IRP after recognizing the toll that long days, late nights, and constant travel were taking on my family life, friendships, and personal wellbeing. That season taught me the importance of balance and reinforced my desire to build a career that allows space for both ambition and connection.
Where I Am Now
Today, I work within the Cunningham Restaurant Group portfolio, where my role has evolved significantly since I first joined.
What initially began as Digital Marketing support focused on email strategy and creation, websites, SEO, and advertising quickly expanded into photography, social media strategy, content creation, partnerships, and brand collaboration initiatives. Over time, I stepped into a Marketing Manager role overseeing email marketing, website management, and social media execution for multiple restaurant concepts, while also maintaining responsibilities in SEO, Meta and Google advertising, and partnership development.
I thrive in fast-moving environments that require creativity, organization, adaptability, and relationship-building. My ability to connect with people on a personal level, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and consistently produce high-quality work has positioned me as a leader within my team.
In June 2026, I will also begin managing the workload and development of the Marketing Intern role — an opportunity I am incredibly excited for as I continue growing both creatively and professionally.
Beyond My Career
Outside of work, I value a homesteader, grounded lifestyle.
I love strength training, long walks through rural country roads, and spending time with my 4-year-old Cane Corso, Luna, who truly is my heart and soul. My family means everything to me, and I deeply value their guidance, honesty, and support.
I am rooted in faith, loyalty, discipline, and the belief that the energy you put into the world eventually finds its way back to you. I care deeply about people and strive to make others feel seen, included, and supported. Whether professionally or personally, I never want someone to feel overlooked.
I believe some of the most important things we can offer each other are kindness, patience, understanding, and presence.
Mentorship & Community
Giving back to my community is also an important part of who I am.
In my spare time, I mentor through Big Brothers Big Sisters of America. My “Little Sister” and I have been matched for over a year, and some of our favorite activities include going to the movies, painting, taking walks, finding great burgers, and making candles together. Being a mentor has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life.
I also volunteer through 4-H, where my mother serves as the Poultry leader. As a former 10-year 4-H member myself, returning now as a volunteer feels incredibly meaningful. I often judge showmanship competitions, where I encourage young participants to be confident in their knowledge, trust their abilities, and take pride in the responsibility that comes with caring for animals.
4-H shaped many of the values I carry with me today — responsibility, leadership, confidence, and hard work — and I will always be grateful for the role it played in my life.
Looking Ahead
I am still young in my career, and truthfully, I do not know exactly where my journey will lead next.
What I do know is that staying grounded in my values, remaining open to opportunities, and continuing to invest in people will always guide me in the right direction.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story and learn more about who I am. I hope you take some time to explore my work, and I truly look forward to connecting with you.
